CAMBLY

 

Cambly is a 1099 tutoring platform. The tutors do not need to have degrees or certification to teach. You provide lessons using the supplies given to you by Cambly. You are paid by the talk time and the pay is $10.20 per talk hour for adults and $12.00 per talk hour for children. Pay is done every Tuesday via paypal. 

 

 

GIGSPOT 

 

Gigspot is a 1099 platform that offers mystery shops. The shops that I have done over the past few months were the phone/virtual shops. These are done from the comfort of your home and cost you nothing. The process is easy. First you look at the available jobs. You click to apply to one. If there is an agreement or certification to do, then do it before you can apply. The company offering the shop will either accept or decline. If they accept, it will be under your jobs tab. You then accept the job. You do the job on the day it is assigned and during the time it is needed to be done.

 

To make the call, you open their job and click the call me button. It calls your phone and you put in the pin number assigned to you. You then complete the call and fill out the form. After you submit it, the company will QA the call and pay you. Pay is usually twice a month via paypal.

 

HOTEL PLANNER 

 

Hotel Planner is a company where agents take incoming calls from people wanting to book hotel rooms. If the hotel room is booked, the agent will receive 15% commission on the profit of that booking. This company offers 24/7 access and agents log in and out as they please. Payouts are done every Tuesday. The agents are paid up to 15 days after each prepaid booking has checked out. If the booking is not prepaid, it can take 90 days or more to pay out. 

 

LIVEOPS  

 

Liveops is a 1099 platform that has been in business for many years. They offer mostly healthcare and retail clients. You pay your own background check fee. That fee is good for two years or more. They mostly pay via talk time although this has been changing for some clients. Some of the clients are now paying for total available time. Pay is done semi-monthly. 

 

One of the best things about LiveOps is that they constantly are looking and engaging with their agents. They have networking events, Roadshows and much more. Certification is unpaid. Certification can last anywhere from one week to 5 weeks or more. Oftentimes cert classes are just three to four hours long.
